Acrylic on Canvas Original is 6x12

Inspired by a song that has the line "pushing up daisies" in it. Been tossing this one around in my head for a good long while, and I am pleased with how it turned out, and please that I finally and actually painted it. surprised myself ;)

normally, when I get these odd little inspirations I PLAN on doing them and never do. so go me =D
I am trying to make prints and mugs availiable, but my files keep getting corupted on the uploading process. =(

this is so creative and so well done! you did an incredible job painting it, awesome use of colors and textures. i especially like how the sky came out. the skelleton has a really dark cuteness about him, it's eerily adorable. and the concept is just so creative and different, i don't think i've ever seen "pushing up daisies" done in this manner! kudos for originality XD

the daisies really cute too, and i like the use of the bold red/orange for the leaves and grass, it just melds together everything in the piece so well and adds to the whole expression.

all in all, this is just awesome. :D

haha! when i was painting it jeri was like "sky green? how!?" and i was like *Orange grass!" and she was like 0_0

ahhaa!

i sad that i didn't give him a grave marker =C I bet he was a murder victim ( after all hes curled up fetal position and not in a coffin) LOL!
he makes daisies so he can be remembered =)
