So, I've been a busy bee these last 2 days. Tomorrow I go back to work and I was hoping to get my new computer after work tomorrow but I checked the hours of business for Future Shop and they are only open until 5 tomorrow and close on new years day! Closed! a huge store like that, I'm flabbergasted. So that leaves me waiting until Sunday to get it.. poop. Oh well.

New computer I say!? Yes, I am getting a new computer as part of the GuruKitty Studio Upgrade! Since my video card took a big shit a while back I find it very difficult to do much graphical stuff on this computer any more so that means my film took another hiatus!
Now that I've got some money saved up I am upgrading the final step of the Studio - The computer. I am not sure what I'll be getting (definitely PC!) something with a decent video card, decent ram, and decent hard drive space... those are my criteria. I also want it to be upgradable to Windows 7 as well, or come with it. I upgraded my mom's computer and it was pretty easy to do and everything seems compatible. I have already got my new Tablet, and net Toonboom 5, and i have the pro version of Plastic Animation Paper as well so I'm hot to trot!

Sunday then....

I spent the better part of yesterday getting #Conflagration-Film up and running as well! you should go join. I feel lonely . I've also been doing a ton of behind the scenes work with =ladydove7 and =kdeln on the #freelancers group as well. Its coming along! We should be ready to go for launch and have members start submitting pretty soon! =ladydove7 has done a wonderful template for the profiles and they're both full of wonderful ideas on including all aspects of the art community into the group! Keep an eye out!

I spent a hunk of today updating all the pages related to Conflagration on GuruKitty.com. I've included my updated list of the voice actors. Holy hell you people are hard to keep track of. some stop replying then reply later after I've removed, some forget, its crazy. before I get going on recording I'm probably going to end up recasting everyone because they all forgot Hopefully the ones I have now are here to stay though. I'd love to keep them .

I'm so excited to have stuff coming along for conflagration now. It's frustrating to have my hands tied, have a great tablet and be unable to use it, have a great program no reason to install it and stuff like that.... most importantly have a great ambition stifled like that.

My christmas was okay? How about you?
I visited my sister in Vernon BC, the home of Planet Bee where I get some great raw beeswax! I brought a whole suitcase full. Maria asked me to get her some too so half the suitcase was for her! HAHA! I was worried when they X-rayed it at the airport that they would think it was bricks of another matter . The Lady at the store gave me gold shiney stickers that said "pure beeswax" just in case HAHA! That was a heavy suitcase .
