Artists relations started doing its updates in the form of journals on the Gallery directors pages. The journals are then linked in the official AR newsletter when its posted as news by $Moonbeam13, and eventually made into a hot topic that will be sent to your message centre.

I'd like it if everyone could read this: FAQ #155: How do I report a submission which I think breaks the rules?. I'm getting so many copyright violations posted as miscats in my report desk, it takes a long time to sift through. By reporting, I am under the impression you want to be helpful, so by reading that you coud better serve your cause The copyright violation reports, I dont deal with, so I have to make it a 'no violation' and then re-report it properly. It kinda slows down production.

I appreciation your patience while I clean up the animations category. Its definately a struggle. There is a cache lag so that everything I've moved doesnt leave the gallery, and the miscats outweigh the deviations, 100:1. ITs really disheartening for me to see that category abused, and being neglected for so long. I'm trying hard. Please feel free to continue reporting from this gallery. I'll do my best in the time I have here. please read my Last AR update for more on the animation gallery, and its uses, and more importantly, what NOT to use it for.

I'm curious about the various types of artists on DA and I would love to get a little education on some of the lesser known types of art on DA. The amazing thing about Traditional art to me, is the variety of tools you can use! it boggles my mind. Just tell me about your art In a comment on here if fine. We can discuss it

Additionally, if you think a category is neglected or its full of miscats and you want to clean it up, let me know as well. On my hitlist now is animations, but sometimes I need a break from one type to clear my head. Dont feel like you cant come to me, and talk to me about the various concerns for the gallery! I'd like to start a ...Project... something like a neighborhood watch for the galleries. Where we can keep the gallery directors informed.. have members of the community be people who can help us know whats going on in the various parts of the community. sometimes we jsut cant see it all, and to prevent mis communications from mounding into web-wars, we could develop a communications web. Please let me know if you have ideas, or would like to volunteer


Some people noticed that there was no way to submit to the Pyrography gallery, so please jsut be aware, thats being fixed right away I look forward to seeing all your wood and leather burning! Once there are some deviations in there, i will do a journal so put your best stuff in there, and send me a link to it, and maybe you'll make it in the feature I prefer you send the links with the subject "pyrography" to my email adress which is guruubii@deviantart.com. This time you can suggest yourself, and I will still consider them for DD's as well
